"Love yourself...

enough to take the actions required for your happiness...

enough to cut yourself loose from the drama-filled past...

enough to set a high standard for relationships...

enough to feed your mind and body in a healthy manner...

enough to forgive yourself... enough to move on."    ~ Dr. Steve Maraboli

A clinical PRIVATE PRACTICE PROVIDING PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR CHILDREN, ADULTS & FAMILIEs.

I am Dr. Rhonda Sturdivant, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Behavioral Health with over 10 years of practice experience.  I have 13+ years of clinical experience in working with the Veteran population,  adults, children & adolescents. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing direct care to diverse populations.  My passion is helping individuals overcome behavioral and mental health blocks to aid in improved management of their comorbid health conditions, with a goal of better health, wellness, and quality of life.

Through River Rise, LLC, I offer supportive therapy to aid in the increase of individual problem-solving skills, strengthening interpersonal relationships, building communication skills, improving coping strategies, and conflict resolution. Fostering a positive therapeutic relationship with each client is the foundation of treatment. I believe that it is important to meet the client where they are and create a treatment plan that is tailored to meet client's needs. I strive to work alongside my clients while working towards resolutions and creating opportunities for growth.
