Kiera Peters is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Georgia. Most of her 20+ year career has been spent working with individuals, couples, and families. Among her areas of expertise, she has a particular interest in working with survivors of grief and loss, all forms of trauma, and other life-altering experiences. Ms. Peters works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, and self-esteem. She is client-centered and utilizes various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), experiential and solution-focused therapy, and is particularly drawn to mindfulness-based interventions. She believes therapy is a collaborative process that guides clients to increase self-awareness, personal strengths, decrease anxiety, and gain a new perspective towards a meaningful life.
